Teach Us to Pray

Our discipleship series is called “Does Prayer Make a Difference?” In follow-up to “The Big Picture, ” we’ll now look more specifically at our personal relationship and interaction with God. We will wrestle with the foundational issues of whether God hears and acts on our behalf, and why prayer is important. Our hope is that through this series, we will gain a deeper understanding of what God is like and how God interacts with the world—and that this understanding will motivate us to pray. We will explore different ways of praying that followers of Jesus have found meaningful down through the ages. In addition, we will acknowledge and support one another's struggles with prayers that seem to go unanswered.

Our Vision

Imagine a community …

… Imagine a community that dares to dream of heaven on Earth; a diverse community where everyone is welcomed and respected and their journey cherished; a community where everyone belongs and looks out for the concerns of others, so no one feels alone.
