A message from the series “When Everything Seems Broken.” The pandemic has taken its toll on all of us in various ways and to different degrees. As we struggle with our own losses, anxieties, discouragements, and practical needs, we are also aware that in many ways we are privileged. In our workplaces, neighborhoods, and society at large, there are so many people struggling financially, emotionally, and spiritually. As followers of Jesus and as compassionate people we want to help—but how can we find the energy to care for others when we ourselves are tired and hurting?

A message from the series “On the Trail with Jesus.” The trail arrives at the northern shore of the lake to the church at Tabgha which commemorates Jesus feeding the multitudes, then to the church and gardens at the Mount of Beatitudes, which commemorates the Sermon on the Mount, and then finally arriving at the ancient lakeside fishing village of Capernaum with its extensive ruins.
