We will take a practical look at how making money, spending it, savng it, and sharing it can all become a more positive force both for our own lives and for others. The aims of the series are that we would find hope and freedom from the burdens that money can impose on us and that we would all become greater sources of generosity and kindess in the world.

This brief series follows on from Easter where we celebrated the possibility and power of new life. We will focus on how faithful and simple acts of service for others create space for God’s love and power to work in ways we could never do ourselves. Our vision is to be a community that makes the world a better place, but rather than putting the pressure or guilt on ourselves to do something remarkable, we will lean on God to produce something amazing out of our ordinary lives and the ordinary things we do.

We gathered together as a whole community to commemorate Jesus’ resurrection, and celebrate his goodness and power bringing life to all the world.

This six week series runs throughout Lent and will help us personally reflect on who we are, where we’ve come from, what motivates and inspires us and what kind of a person we want to become. The aim is that through this kind of thoughtful reflection we will be able to finder deeper meaning and purpose in our lives. Like all our discipleship series there is an accompanying workbook with reading material, personal reflection exercises and group discussion questions. Each week the message on Sunday will address a topic corresponding to the workbook material.
